We had a wonderful experience at Rancho Las Cascadas for my friends bachelorette party! . The ranch itself is SO beautiful and serene - the individual rooms were a good size, we loved the included robe and unique tile in the bathrooms. The beds and sheets were comfortable, and the rooms were always kept pristine. The rest of the ranch - the pool, the views, the table settings, the interior rooms, were all unique and beautiful, full of color and life! The hospitality and staff and the service were EXCEPTIONAL - Brenda + Shanti were so kind, warm, and went out of their way to make our experience great. We also loved all of the staff - everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, at home, and taken care of. We absolutely loved all of our meals - authentic Mexican cuisine with a large spread at each course. The chefs were so sweet and made us daily guacamole, and a specialty July 4 cake and toast for our Bride and to celebrate the holiday. They were incredibly thoughtful and there were a lot of little, thoughtful details that did not go unnoticed. The horse back riding was really fun - I was able to ride every day for 3 hours and cantered which I LOVED. We had a few mishaps and had a few girls fall/get bucked off horses, luckily not injured! My only feedback is that the wranglers need to be a bit more formal/organized when it comes to directions and mounting to prevent further accidents. The horses seemed to get spooked easily. This was the only hiccup in our trip and otherwise would've been a 5 star weekend!

Fantastic place to visit. Everywhere you look it is a photo opportunity. Beautifully decorated with fine attention to detail. And that’s just the exterior. The horseback riding was fantastic with horses that are very well trained and guides who are knowledgable and professional. The staff were attentive and the accommodations were very comfortable and well decorated …would definitely return.

We had a fabulous stay at the Ranch. The horses were amazing as were the wranglers, the food and the hospitality. We were just there during early to mid June and despite it being the rainy season, we were able to ride all day. It wasn’t too hot or too cool. The massages were wonderful and hiking the waterfalls was another bonus to the beautiful scenery. Hoping to return one day for another stay. Thank you all for making it memorable!

A group of 5 gals coming to celebrate a milestone birthday! Brenda, Shante' and the rest of the staff made our trip beyond memorable. The food was amazing! You must try the Don Ramon tequila. The way the horses are treated and the display of them is heartwarming and stunning. The rides they took us on were beautiful. The property is beautiful. We'll be back, for sure! When you keep a certain vacation bookmarked in your browswer for almost a decade, and spend years fantasizing about how it might be the perfect trip, you run the risk that the dream will eclipse the reality. Luckily, that was not the case here. Even though this was a bucket-list trip for me, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Five stars cannot possible capture how and why Rancho las Cascadas is not only as amazing as I'd hoped it would be (in terms of allowing me to gallop around on well-loved, well-trained, and generally excellent geldings and stallions to my heart's content), but it also blew me away multiple times a day for reasons that I could never have anticipated: every single person and animal on the premises somehow welcomes and embraces guests like they are family. Please forgive any misspelled names or locations, because each individual you interact with is so genuinely kind and focused on helping guests enjoy their time there that I would hate to slight anyone. From the seamless pickup at the airport to the perfection of the hot tub and infinity pool overlooking the expansive scenery, this is a trip I am already hungry to take again. When I first arrived, I was the only guest, and this meant that I was joined for meals by Chanty, who was not only a blast to go riding with, but also managed to make me feel a part of the ranch instead of like an inconvenient single guest. Chanty and the expert wranglers, Carlos and Josue (sp?) made those early rides that I was privileged to take alone truly thrilling. There isn't a single detail they don't consider: even when I was the only guest, there was a small carafe of fresh-squeezed orange juice waiting for me. Brenda, the General Experience Manager, made the one excursion (I wasn't willing to give up riding time) a delight, because, like everyone else on the ranch, she is a just a joy to spend time with – warm, efficient, interested in every guest, and tirelessly attentive to detail. As a native New Yorker, I was skeptical when she first told me that I wouldn't need a key to my room because that wasn't necessary, and I honestly never thought about it again. Once other guests arrived, the whole atmosphere, including the family style meal service, absolutely encouraged celebration, mutual support, goodwill, and a lot of laughter. But if the staff make ranch a great vacation, the animals certainly also do their share to make the experience feel almost magical. Callie, the ranch dog that I still find myself missing, will escort you everywhere if you let her. Uschi, the owner who greats each guest like a family member she hasn't seen in a while, has two additional dogs that you can't help me fall in love with. Every single animal on the property, including the horses, cats, donkeys, chickens, and even the massive Koi in a beautiful pond, is in seemingly perfect healthy. They present themselves for human affection. They are so well cared for it is astonishing: no fleas, no bones showing anywhere. Like everything else about this trip, I cannot find a single thing to complain about, except that it is over. Thank you for the much-needed reset and for being everything I had been dreaming about for almost a decade. This Ranch is paradise if you are prepared to be present and enjoy it.
